Here at Jumppy Pte Ltd we understand that sometimes plans may change and it may become necessary to have to cancel or amend your booking with us. Our cancellation policy below set out our key points and circumstances and any cancellation fees that may be due and payable and if any refunds would be due.
Our cancellation policy applies to all our bookings and accompanies our terms and conditions of hire.
Cancellation by Jumppy Pte Ltd “The Company”
It is very rare for us to have to cancel a booking and as a company we have a great track record but we are also open to a large amount of issues that are beyond our control.
Cancellation due to reasons beyond our control a full refund of any monies paid, i.e. but not exhausted vehicle breakdown, equipment breakdown, staff shortage or any other reason, excluding health and safety grounds, lack of space or wrong surface type, as these are confirmed before booking and are down to the client to check and confirm.
Cancellation by the Client
ALL cancellations must be made by telephone and speaking to a member of staff during normal office hours (9am-5pm Mon-Fri). All cancellations will be confirmed in writing via email & this must be kept as your proof of cancellation. Cancellations cannot be taken by voice mail, text, email or any other methods.
In order to amend or cancel your booking, please provide us with as much notice as is reasonably practicable.
Cancellations 4 days or more in advance of hire date are subject to a 25% charge of the total booking value.
Cancellations between 2-3 days of the hire date are subject to a 50% charge of the total booking value.
Cancellations within 24 hours of the delivery time or upon delivery will be subject to 100% charge of the total booking value.
Cancellation due to adverse weather: If you feel that the weather forecast will ruin your day, you may cancel but must notify us before 8am on the day of hire by calling us on 97575625. Any Booking Fees and monies paid may be transferred to an alternative hire date within 365 days. Do note that there will be an cancellation fee of $50 for cancellation or re-scheduling.
Please refer to our Terms & Conditions of Hire clause 12.1 & 12.2 ‘For outdoor hires, the equipment must not be used in any rain or windy conditions. In the event of rain, use the rain plastic sheet that have being passed to you and cover the castle completely, remove all users from the equipment until the rain has past, then dry off any water with a towel, before use continues.
If the company has to cancel your booking based on the weather forecast exceeding what our industry deems to be acceptable for safe use, as per the HSE recommended guidelines specified in BS EN14960, and as per clause 12.2, we will telephone you with as much notice as possible and endeavour to work with you to find an alternative venue indoors, or move your hire to another date subject to availability.
Cancellations due to insufficient space/unsuitable area or surface type: All equipment on our website states the actual size of the equipment plus the area required for safe use including the height restrictions. If we are unable to deliver an item due to insufficient or unsuitable area, wrong surface type, or height restrictions, your booking will be subject to a Cancellation Fee of 100% of the booking value less any monies paid.
Refunds
Booking Fees/Deposits paid are not refundable, however, if the required cancellation period is given as set out in the Cancellation Policy, we are happy to hold your Booking Fee and transfer any payments you have made for up to 1 year (365 days) to be used against a future booking subject to availability. If you do not use your Booking Fee and payments held for a hire date within 1 year from your original hire date, any monies paid will be void and not transferable/refundable.
Cancellations 4 days or more in advance of hire date will be subject to our cancellation policy above and will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable Booking Fee/deposit.
Cancellations within 4 days of hire date will be subject to our cancellation policy above and only receive a partial refund.
Cancellations within 24 hours of the delivery time or upon delivery will not receive any refund.
Cancellations due to insufficient space/unsuitable area or surface type will not receive any refund.
You will be given a full refund if the company cancel your booking for any reason other than poor weather, The Client will be able to transfer the Booking Fee and monies paid to an alternative hire date up to 1 year (365 days) in advance subject to availability.
Refunds will be paid into the bank account you provided unless otherwise requested.
Refunds will be paid within 28 days of cancellation date.
