What’s different about our temple bus charter

  • LTA-licensed Private Hire Bus partnersForward-facing seats with retractable three-point seatbelts, regular safety inspection. The same compliance standards we apply to school and church transport.
  • Tier flexibility from 13 to 45 seatsA small group of devotees on a Hiace; a senior-centre temple tour on a 24-seater coach; a multi-temple festival outing on a 40 or 45-seater.
  • Cross-border pilgrimage handledMulti-day temple circuits to Genting Chin Swee, Penang Kek Lok Si and the Ipoh cave temples — Causeway clearance and all tolls included in the flat fare.

Common temple bookings we cover

  • Vesak Day multi-temple tour — the major Buddhist holiday in May or June. Families and community groups often visit two or three temples in a single day; we handle the route and the on-site waiting.
  • Lunar new year temple visits — first-day and fifteenth-day blessing visits, often covering Kong Meng San, Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho and a neighbourhood temple in one circuit.
  • Qing Ming tomb-sweeping — April period, columbarium and cemetery visits to Mandai, Choa Chu Kang and Yishun. Multi-stop, full-day, often elderly devotees who appreciate door-to-door pickup.
  • Senior centre and RC temple outings — community-centre day trips for elderly devotees. Wheelchair-accessible support available — see our wheelchair-accessible transport page.
  • Temple anniversary and consecration ceremonies — devotees travelling to specific temples on auspicious dates, often coordinated through the temple committee.
  • Cross-border pilgrimage circuit — multi-day trip covering Genting Chin Swee Temple, Penang Kek Lok Si and the Ipoh cave temples. Flat fare with tolls and Causeway clearance included.

Buddhist and Taoist temple visits often happen together for Singapore Chinese families — we run the route, you keep the rhythm. For Hindu temple events and Thaipusam, see our Hindu temple bus page. For weddings and other group events, see event bus charter.

How it works

  1. 1 WhatsApp us the brief Date, temples on the circuit, pickup point, headcount and any cross-border legs. A short message is enough — we’ll work the route timing with you.
  2. 2 We quote a flat day or multi-day rate Locked-in price covers vehicle, driver, fuel, on-site waiting at each temple and — for cross-border legs — Causeway tolls and clearance. One invoice for the family or temple committee.
  3. 3 Confirmed driver follows the route Drivers brief in with the group lead on arrival, wait between temples without rushing the prayer time, and adjust the route order if a temple is busier than expected.

Sample fares

Temple bookings vary too much for a single flat fare — a half-day local circuit for a family of ten is a different shape from a three-day Penang-Ipoh pilgrimage for a coach of forty. We quote on the route rather than publishing a single temple-bus rate.

For reference, our published from-fares start at SGD 210 one-way on a 13-seater Hiace, from SGD 260 on an 18-seater minibus, and from SGD 430 on a 24-seater coach for cross-border legs — full table on our pricing page under Group Vans, 18-Seater Minibus and Group Coaches. Multi-day pilgrimage trips include the on-site waiting and daily movements in the package.

FAQ

Can you do a multi-temple day tour?

Yes — three or four temples in a single day is one of our most common bookings, especially during Vesak, lunar new year and the first and fifteenth of the lunar month. We hold the vehicle at each temple while devotees pray, then move on when the group is ready. The driver follows the group’s pace, not a fixed clock.

How far ahead should we book for Vesak or lunar new year?

Four to six weeks for Vesak weekend, and the same for the first three days of lunar new year. Both periods are coach-tight across Singapore — confirm the brief early so we can hold the right vehicle for you.

Do you handle Qing Ming columbarium and cemetery visits?

Yes. Mandai, Choa Chu Kang and Yishun columbarium and cemetery visits are common Qing Ming bookings. Multi-stop, full-day, with on-site waiting at each location. Elderly devotees with mobility support are welcome — we can pair this with our wheelchair-accessible transport when needed.

Can you do a cross-border pilgrimage circuit?

Yes. A common multi-day circuit covers Genting Chin Swee Temple, the Ipoh cave temples (Sam Poh Tong, Perak Tong, Kek Lok Tong) and Penang Kek Lok Si. We quote the full circuit as a package — Causeway or Second Link clearance handled, tolls included, daily movements between temples and overnight stops covered. See our Ipoh cave temple guide for context.

Can you co-ordinate multiple vehicles for a large temple group?

Yes. A common shape is one 24 or 45-seater coach for the main group plus one 13-seater Hiace for the temple committee, offerings and equipment. Multi-vehicle bookings come back as a single quote and single invoice.

Are the vehicles wheelchair-accessible for elderly devotees?

On request. Many temple-tour groups have elderly devotees who need ramp or lift access. Let us know on WhatsApp and we’ll dispatch the right vehicle — full details on our wheelchair-accessible transport page.

Do you provide a guide or temple-tour itinerary?

No — we provide the vehicle, driver and route. The itinerary, prayer schedule and temple selection sits with the family or temple committee; our driver follows the group’s plan rather than imposing one.
