How it works

- 3 Confirmed driver runs the route Same driver on the route where possible, with a back-up driver pool for sick days. Standing routes get a route briefing on day one with the parent or school coordinator before the first AM run.
Sample fares
Daily school-bus pricing depends on route length, student count, vehicle size and contract length. We don’t publish a per-student card-tap rate because we don’t bill that way — we charter the whole vehicle on a fixed contract, so the price holds whether the bus runs at twelve students or sixteen.

What’s the difference between Jumppy and an SSTA school-bus operator?
SSTA-registered operators bid for MOE-school long-term contracts through the School Bus Advertisements site and run the yellow or orange daily school buses you see at government schools. We’re a Private Hire Bus charter service for private schools, international schools, enrichment centres, kindergartens, sports academies and short-term student transport — flexible terms from a single day to a full term, no annual lock-in. If you’re a parent at an MOE school, your school’s appointed bus operator is usually the right starting point; if you’re outside that programme, we are.
Are your vehicles LTA-compliant for student transport?
Yes. We charter via LTA-licensed Private Hire Bus operators, with drivers holding the relevant Bus Driver’s or Omni-Bus Driver’s Vocational Licence. Vehicles serving students carry forward-facing seats with retractable three-point seatbelts, or run with a bus attendant on board where the school prefers that arrangement. Regular safety inspection is part of the operator’s licence terms.
How much does a private school bus service cost in Singapore?
It depends on route, vehicle size and contract length, so we quote on the route rather than publishing a per-child monthly figure. For context, established international schools that run their own programme charge roughly S$360–440 per child per month for a two-way bus zone — a twelve-child parent group at that rate already sits in the same range as chartering a dedicated 13-seater with us, with the upside of route control and vehicle exclusivity. Can you handle cross-border school transport (JB to Singapore)?
Yes. We run JB-resident students to Singapore private and international schools daily. Causeway or Second Link clearance is handled by the driver, tolls are included in the flat fare, and the pickup window is built around peak immigration timing so the school arrival holds. Do you provide a bus attendant?
On request, at additional cost. Some schools and parent groups prefer a paid attendant on every run, especially with younger children; others use the seatbelted-seat configuration without an attendant. We coordinate the attendant arrangement with our partner operators at booking time and reflect it in the quote.
Can we book a one-off school trip instead of a daily contract?
Yes — that’s our school excursion bus page. One-off educational trips, CCA outings, inter-school competitions and cross-border Legoland day-trips are quoted per trip. This page is for recurring AM-PM shuttles, term contracts and standing routes; the excursion page is for one-off jobs.
What’s the minimum contract length?
One day. We accept anything from a single charter run to a full term. Standing weekly or monthly contracts get a slightly better per-trip rate because the driver and route become familiar — fewer minutes lost to pickup-point hunting and parent introductions after week one.
