Luxury MPV
Toyota Alphard
Cross-border luxury for families and executives — the gold standard for SG↔KL. 6 pax with 2 checked + 2 cabin bags.
See Toyota Alphard details →Cheaper green fees are just across the Causeway — but not with golf bags on a bus. We run a private car door-to-door from Singapore to Horizon Hills, Palm Resort, Austin Heights and more. Clubs fit, no VEP, and the driver can wait through your round. From SGD 150 each way.
Johor’s golf courses are a big reason Singapore golfers keep crossing the Causeway: green fees are friendlier, the layouts are good, and a handful of clubs sit barely an hour from the border. The catch is getting there. Public transport with a golf bag is a non-starter, and driving your own car means sorting out a VEP first. A private chauffeur sidesteps both — one car picks up your flight, the bags ride in the boot, and you cross to JB without the paperwork.
We’re a cross-border booking platform: you tell us the course, the tee time, and how many players, and we dispatch a vetted JCTransport vehicle that’s right-sized for clubs.
A few of the courses Singapore golfers regularly ask us for. These are examples, not an endorsement of one over another — tell us where you’re playing and we’ll route to it.
| Course | Area | Approx. drive from SG |
|---|---|---|
| Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club | Iskandar Puteri / Nusajaya | ~55 min |
| Palm Resort Golf & Country Club | Near Senai Airport | ~45–60 min |
| Austin Heights Golf Club | Mount Austin | ~30–60 min |
| Daiman 18 Golf & Country Club | Johor Bahru | ~30–50 min |
| Ponderosa Golf & Country Club | Tebrau / Johor Bahru | ~30–50 min |
| Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort | Pasir Gudang | ~45–60 min |
| Pulai Springs Resort | Pulai / Skudai | ~50–70 min |
Horizon Hills is a Ross Watson design and one of the region’s premier courses; Palm Resort runs multiple courses out near Senai Airport; and Austin Heights packs 27 holes at Mount Austin. Drive times are off-peak and exclude Causeway clearance, which varies on the day. Not on the list? We go wherever the course is — just send us the name.
Golf is the one trip where the boot matters as much as the seats.
Two common shapes, depending on whether you want the car waiting through your round.
We pick up in Singapore and drop you at the clubhouse. Simplest and cheapest if you’ve got your own plan for the return — handy when the group’s staying over in JB. Book a separate ride back whenever you’re ready.
The driver takes you to the course, waits through the round (and lunch, if you like), then brings you back to Singapore. This is a full-day arrangement rather than a per-trip fare — our full-day driver page covers it, and we quote a day rate on WhatsApp once we know your hours and course.
Either way, the cross-border vehicle is MY-plated beyond JB, all tolls and Causeway clearance are included in the flat one-way fares, and you can add a stop — lunch, a mall, a second course — for a small surcharge. If you’d rather compare a plain point-to-point crossing, see our cross-border taxi to JB.
Only if you drive your own car into Malaysia. Singapore-registered private cars need a valid VEP linked to an RFID tag to cross, and the registration takes time to set up. Our VEP application guide walks through it if you’re weighing the self-drive route. Book a chauffeur and none of that applies — the car’s permits are handled, so you just turn up with your clubs.
Flat, agreed up front, and each way for a one-way drop. All tolls and Causeway clearance are included. Pickups between 11pm and 7am — common for a pre-dawn tee time — carry a flat SGD 30 night surcharge.
| Arrangement | Vehicle | Fare |
|---|---|---|
| SG → JB golf course (one-way) | Standard MPV | from SGD 150 each way |
| SG → JB golf course (one-way) | Luxury MPV | from SGD 180 each way |
| Full day — driver waits & returns | Standard Car or MPV | WhatsApp us for a day-rate quote |
An MPV is the usual pick for golf because of the bags — for most flights it’s the right call over a Standard Car. Adding a stop on the way (course plus lunch, say) is +S$20 per extra stop. The full-day, wait-through-your-round option isn’t a per-trip fare, so we size it on the day; see our full-day driver page and message us your hours. Full matrix on our pricing page.
WhatsApp us your course, tee time, number of players, and whether you want a one-way drop or the driver waiting through the round. We dispatch a vetted JCTransport car sized for your bags and confirm the all-in fare before you book.
Yes. We recommend an MPV for golf — it carries a 3–4 ball flight plus their bags in one vehicle. Tell us how many players and bags when you book and we’ll send a car with the boot space to match. See our fleet for capacities.
Yes — that’s a full-day arrangement where the driver waits through the round (and lunch, if you like) and returns you to Singapore. It’s quoted as a day rate rather than a per-trip fare. Send us your tee time and rough finish on WhatsApp and we’ll quote it; see our full-day driver page.
From SGD 150 each way in a Standard MPV, or from SGD 180 each way in a luxury MPV (the usual pick for bags). Those are one-way drop fares with tolls and Causeway clearance included. A full-day trip where the driver waits is quoted on WhatsApp. Full matrix on our pricing page.
Not with a chauffeur. A VEP and RFID tag are only required if you drive your own Singapore-registered car into Malaysia. Book a car with us and the permits are handled — you just bring your clubs. If you’re comparing self-drive, see our VEP application guide.
Yes, around the clock. A pre-dawn pickup to make a first-light flight is routine. Pickups between 11pm and 7am carry a flat SGD 30 night surcharge — worth factoring in for an early tee.
Horizon Hills, Palm Resort, Austin Heights, plus others like Daiman 18, Ponderosa, Tanjong Puteri, and Pulai Springs. The list isn’t exhaustive — we drive to wherever you’re playing, so just tell us the course.
Yes. An extra stop — lunch, a mall, a second course — is +SGD 20 per stop on top of the base fare. Let us know the stops when you book and we’ll include them in the quote.
