Luxury MPV
Toyota Alphard
Cross-border luxury for families and executives — the gold standard for SG↔KL. 6 pax with 2 checked + 2 cabin bags.
See Toyota Alphard details →Private chauffeur trips for wheelchair users and passengers with reduced mobility — a ramp vehicle where you stay seated in your own wheelchair, or a driver who helps you into the car and stows a foldable chair. Tell us your needs and we confirm the right vehicle before you book.
Getting to an appointment, home from hospital, to the airport, or across to Johor for a check-up shouldn’t be the stressful part of the day. If you or a family member uses a wheelchair or has trouble getting in and out of a car, an ordinary taxi or ride-hail can be a struggle — no guarantee of a suitable vehicle, no one to help with boarding, and no space to stow a chair properly.
We book private chauffeur trips built around that need. You tell us how the passenger travels best, we match the right vehicle, and we confirm everything with you on WhatsApp before anything is booked — in Singapore, or door-to-door across the Causeway to JB hospitals with no change of vehicle at the border.
We arrange accessible and assisted transport for a range of needs:
There isn’t a single “accessible vehicle” that fits everyone, so we offer a choice. The right one depends on the passenger’s mobility and the vehicle available on the day — which is why we ask a few questions and confirm the exact vehicle on WhatsApp before you book.
The passenger stays seated in their own wheelchair, which is secured inside the vehicle via a powered rear ramp. The welcab we use for this is the Toyota Noah Welcab 1.8X Hybrid — a factory-built wheelchair-accessible MPV with a fold-out rear ramp and a winch that locks the chair safely in place. It suits powered or non-folding wheelchairs, or passengers who can’t easily transfer to a car seat. The welcab is available on request — we can’t promise one is free on every date, so the earlier you ask, the better we can match it.
Worth knowing: a wheelchair-ramp welcab is a specially converted vehicle, and in this class the Noah Welcab is the model that exists — there is no factory Alphard or Vellfire ramp version (despite photos you may see online). If you’d prefer the comfort of a luxury MPV such as the Alphard or Vellfire, that works under Option B below, where the passenger transfers into a normal seat and the folded chair is stowed.

The driver helps the passenger out of the wheelchair into a regular MPV seat, then folds the chair and stows it in the boot. This works well for foldable chairs and passengers who can transfer with a little support — often the simplest option for elderly parents and short trips. See our fleet for MPV space and seating.
| Option | Passenger stays in their wheelchair? | Best for | How to request |
|---|---|---|---|
| A — Ramp / lift vehicle | Yes — secured in the vehicle | Powered or non-folding wheelchairs; passengers who can’t transfer to a seat | WhatsApp us; we confirm availability before booking |
| B — Assisted transfer into MPV | No — moves to a car seat | Foldable wheelchairs; passengers who can transfer with help | WhatsApp us with the chair type and mobility needs |
Not sure which fits? That’s normal — just describe the situation and we’ll suggest the better option, then confirm the vehicle before you commit.
So we match the right vehicle the first time, it helps to know a few things up front:
None of this is set in stone — share what you know and we’ll fill in the rest on WhatsApp. We confirm the exact vehicle before you book, so there are no surprises at the door.
Many families travel to Johor for medical care because it’s closer and more affordable. We take the passenger door-to-door in one vehicle — from the home or hospital in Singapore straight to KPJ, Columbia Asia or another JB facility — with no transfer at the Causeway. That matters a great deal when the passenger is unwell or in a wheelchair; nobody wants to swap cars at the border.
Cross-border vehicles are MY-plated beyond JB, and we arrange the whole journey as one booking. For the wider picture on clinics and appointments, see our JB medical tourism guide, and for general runs our cross-border taxi to JB page.
We want to be clear about this. We provide transport only — we are not an ambulance and we don’t provide medical care. Drivers can help with boarding, steadying the passenger, and luggage or equipment, but they are not trained medical escorts and can’t administer care during the trip.
If there is a medical emergency, please call 995 for an ambulance — not us. For non-urgent appointments, discharges and planned travel where the passenger is stable, a private accessible chauffeur is the right fit.
Please book ahead where you can — a little notice lets us match the right vehicle properly rather than scramble. Pickups between 11pm and 7am carry a flat S$30 night surcharge.
Accessible and assisted trips are quoted per booking rather than from a fixed table, because the price depends on the vehicle, the route, and whether it’s a cross-border run. So we don’t publish a fare here — WhatsApp us with the details and we’ll send a clear quote for your trip. You can see our pricing page for general context, but wheelchair and assisted trips are quoted per trip.
In a ramp or lift vehicle, yes — the wheelchair is secured inside and the passenger stays seated. Whether that’s the right fit depends on the chair and the vehicle available, so tell us the details and we confirm on WhatsApp before you book.
Yes — a Toyota Noah Welcab 1.8X Hybrid, a factory-built wheelchair-accessible MPV with a powered rear ramp. It’s available on request rather than on standby, so the earlier you ask the better — let us know when you enquire and we confirm availability when booking.
Yes, but via assisted transfer (Option B), not as a ramp vehicle. There is no factory wheelchair-ramp version of the Alphard or Vellfire — the ramp welcab we run is the Toyota Noah Welcab. If the passenger can transfer to a seat with the driver’s help, we’re glad to use an Alphard or Vellfire and stow the folded chair. If the passenger must stay seated in the wheelchair, that’s the Noah Welcab ramp vehicle.
Yes. With an assisted transfer, the driver helps the passenger out of the wheelchair and into a regular MPV seat, then folds the wheelchair and stows it in the boot. It’s a common request and works well for foldable chairs. See our elderly chauffeur page too.
Yes — door-to-door in one vehicle, with no change of vehicle at the Causeway. We go straight from Singapore to KPJ, Columbia Asia or another JB facility. Cross-border vehicles are MY-plated beyond JB. See our JB medical tourism page.

Please book ahead where you can. Accessible trips need the right vehicle matched to the passenger, and a little notice lets us confirm a ramp vehicle or an MPV for assisted transfer rather than scramble at short notice.
An MPV comfortably seats family plus a carer alongside the passenger. Tell us the group size when you enquire and we’ll match a vehicle with the right number of seats. See our fleet for capacities.
No. We provide transport only — not medical care, and this is not an ambulance. Drivers help with boarding, steadying the passenger and luggage, but are not trained medical escorts. For a medical emergency, call 995.
