Luxury MPV
Toyota Alphard
Cross-border luxury for families and executives — the gold standard for SG↔KL. 6 pax with 2 checked + 2 cabin bags.
See Toyota Alphard details →Door-to-door between KL and JB in one comfortable ride down the North–South Expressway — all highway tolls included, no border to clear. From SGD 320 one-way. WhatsApp us for a quote in a jiffy.
Need to get between Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru? It’s about a 330 km, four-hour run down the North–South Expressway — too far to be comfortable in a cramped car, too fiddly to stitch together by train and bus. A private chauffeur turns the whole thing into one door-to-door ride: we collect you from your KL hotel or home and drop you at your JB address, with all the highway tolls already in the fare.
Because both cities sit inside Malaysia, there’s no immigration checkpoint on this route — none of the Causeway queueing you get on a Singapore run. It’s a straight domestic drive, which makes it one of the easiest long trips we do.
Johor Bahru sits at the southern tip of Peninsular Malaysia, about 330 km south of Kuala Lumpur. The drive runs almost entirely on the North–South Expressway (the PLUS highway, route E2) and takes roughly 3.5 to 4 hours door-to-door, depending on where in each city you start and the traffic around KL and Johor. Unlike a Singapore-bound trip there’s no checkpoint to clear, so the only variable is the road itself — we build in a sensible buffer and keep you moving.
The alternatives all involve a transfer, a wait, or a squeeze. A chauffeured car is the one option that’s genuinely door-to-door:
It’s the same comfort as our Singapore to KL chauffeur service, just kept entirely within Malaysia.
These are flat, each-way fares — driver, fuel and all highway tolls included. Return trips are simply the one-way fare times two. Pick the vehicle that fits your group and luggage; if you’re not sure, message us and we’ll point you to the right one.
| Vehicle | Seats (with luggage) | One-way | Return (×2) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard MPV (Toyota Innova / Voxy class) | 5 | SGD 320 | SGD 640 |
| Luxury MPV (Toyota Alphard / Vellfire) | 6 | SGD 360 | SGD 720 |
| XL MPV (Hyundai Starex / Staria) | 7 | from SGD 400 | from SGD 800 |
Travelling as a bigger group? We also run 13-seater vans for KL–JB on request — WhatsApp us for the best rate. A flat S$30 late-night surcharge applies to pickups between 11pm and 7am, and extra stops along the way are +S$20 each. See the full fleet and capacities on our fleet page, or the wider route list on our pricing page.
Door-to-door, ~4 hours, one fixed fare with tolls included. The practical winner when you value your time, have luggage, or are travelling as a family or team. You leave when you want, not on a timetable.
KTM’s electric train is comfortable but doesn’t run straight through — the southern stretch means a change of service, and you still need transfers at both ends to reach an actual address. Total journey time often beats out longer than the drive once you count the connections.
You can fly Kuala Lumpur (KLIA / KLIA2) to Senai Airport (JHB) in under an hour, but add check-in, security, and the transfers to and from each airport and the door-to-door time is similar to driving — at a higher cost for a group. If you’re flying internationally instead, see our KLIA airport transfer service.
The cheapest option, with many operators running KL to JB daily. The trade-offs are a fixed schedule, a terminal at each end (Larkin in JB), and no help with luggage or the last mile to your door.
We cover any address in both cities. The common ones:
Heading further south to Singapore after JB? We can take you all the way to the Causeway or Second Link, or book a separate cross-border car into Singapore for the final leg.
For a couple or a small family, a Standard or Luxury MPV is the sweet spot — comfortable seating for a four-hour drive plus a boot big enough for check-in luggage. If you’re carrying a lot of bags or travelling seven-up, the XL MPV (Starex or Staria) gives you the extra luggage room. Larger groups can take a 13-seater. Browse the line-up on our fleet page and we’ll match the right car when you message us.
We’re a cross-border and intra-Malaysia chauffeur booking platform. You WhatsApp us your pickup, drop-off, date and group size; we dispatch a vetted JCTransport driver in a MY-plated vehicle and confirm your flat fare. One ride from KL to JB, tolls sorted, luggage in the boot — message us and we’ll handle the rest.
Roughly 3.5 to 4 hours for the ~330 km down the North–South Expressway, depending on where you start in each city and the traffic. There’s no border checkpoint on this route since it’s entirely within Malaysia, so the only variable is the road.

No. Both Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru are in Malaysia, so it’s a domestic drive with no immigration checkpoint. The Causeway and Second Link only come into play if you continue on into Singapore.
Yes — the service is fully door-to-door. We collect from any address in KL (hotels, KL Sentral, KLCC, PJ, Subang, KLIA) and drop at any address in JB, from City Square and JB Sentral to hospitals, Legoland and private homes.
Yes. We can drop you at the Causeway or Second Link, or arrange a cross-border car to take you to a Singapore address. The KL–JB leg and the JB–Singapore leg are priced separately because the cross-border portion has its own clearance and fare.
Yes. XL MPVs (Starex / Staria) seat seven with four large cases, and we run 13-seater vans for bigger groups on request. Tell us your group size and luggage when you message and we’ll send a vehicle with the right space.
A flat S$30 surcharge applies to pickups between 11pm and 7am. Extra stops along the way are an additional S$20 each. Everything else — fuel and highway tolls — is already included in the quoted fare.
