Bukit Indah is the easy weekend run — a residential township in Iskandar Puteri anchored by AEON Bukit Indah mall, sitting around 20 minutes from the Tuas Second Link. For Singaporeans heading west, it’s one of the fastest ways into JB without the Causeway crawl.
Bukit Indah is a master-planned township in Iskandar Puteri (formerly Nusajaya), the redeveloped western corridor of Johor. It’s primarily residential — gated condos, landed homes, schools, supermarkets — with AEON Bukit Indah as the everyday retail anchor. Singapore visitors usually come for a quick mall + groceries run, or to visit friends, family or a property.
For Bukit Indah, the routing decision is easy: Tuas Second Link almost always wins. Here’s how each mode plays out.
From SGD 150 in a Standard MPV that takes 4–5 with luggage. Drive time is around 20 minutes from Sultan Abu Bakar (Tuas Second Link) once you clear immigration — one of the shortest cross-border runs we offer. From the Causeway it stretches to 30–40 minutes via Skudai, so we default to Tuas for this district. Tolls and CIQ clearance are included. See cross border taxi options for the wider lineup.
Cross-border buses serve JB Sentral and a handful of malls, but Bukit Indah isn’t a primary terminus. Workable via a transfer at JB Sentral or Gelang Patah, but slow. More on the cross border bus singapore options.
Not practical. The shuttle tebrau lands at JB Sentral on the eastern side. From there to Bukit Indah is a 30-plus-minute Grab — defeats the speed advantage.
Sensible if you have a registered vep application. AEON Bukit Indah has free parking and the Tuas Second Link is generally less congested than the Causeway. Main friction is still the SG-side checkpoint queue.
Flat fare per vehicle, not per person. Tuas Second Link tolls and Malaysian highway tolls included.
| Vehicle | Pax | Flat fare (SGD) |
|---|---|---|
| Standard MPV (Voxy / Noah / Serena) | 4–7 | $150 |
| Luxury MPV (Alphard / Vellfire) | 4–7 | $180 |
| 13-seater Hiace | 8–13 | $210 |
Round-trip rates are available — typically 2× the one-way fare with a wait or return leg. See the full pricing matrix →
About 20 minutes from Sultan Abu Bakar (Tuas Second Link) once you clear immigration. From the Causeway it stretches to 30–40 minutes via Skudai. We default to Tuas for this district unless your pickup is in northern Singapore.
Tuas Second Link, almost every time. Bukit Indah sits in Iskandar Puteri on the western side of JB, which is what the Tuas crossing was built to serve. Pickup address determines the call but it’s a strong default.
Yes. Standard wait is 30 minutes free; longer holds use an hourly disposal rate. WhatsApp us before booking if you need a longer hold or a multi-stop loop around Iskandar Puteri.
Most guarded gates allow visitor drop-offs at the lobby with the host’s pre-clearance or a quick visitor registration. Send the exact address and the resident’s phone number on WhatsApp; we’ll relay to the driver.
Yes — SGD, MYR cash, PayNow, bank transfer, WeChat Pay and AliPay are all accepted. Convenient for residents who already keep MYR cash on hand. Full payment options.
Yes — they’re short hops from Bukit Indah within the Iskandar Puteri zone. Send the full itinerary on WhatsApp and we’ll quote either a multi-stop flat fare or a half-day chauffeur. Compare against our full day driver singapore hourly product if you want flexibility.
Both. Round-trip is 2× the one-way fare — driver waits or returns depending on the gap. See the matrix.
