Standard MPV
Toyota Voxy
Budget-friendly family MPV — great for short cross-border runs. 5 pax with 2 checked + 2 cabin bags.
See Toyota Voxy details →Door-to-door transfer from any Singapore address to KSL City Mall and KSL Hotel & Resort in Taman Abad. Flat fares from SGD 150, all tolls and Causeway clearance included. Mall, hotel and waterpark in one staycation stop.
KSL City Mall in Taman Abad has been a Singaporean staycation staple for over a decade — a single integrated complex with around 500 retail outlets, a 900-room hotel, and a rooftop dinosaur-themed water park. Family weekends start and end at the same address.
KSL is one of those JB destinations that earns its repeat visitors. The integrated format means a family of four can shop, eat, swim and sleep without ever moving a car — which is why it has been a Singaporean weekend favourite since it opened in 2010.
KSL sits south of the JB city centre in Taman Abad. The Causeway is the natural crossing for most pickups.
The standard choice for KSL because most trips here are family staycations with luggage and kids. Pickup from any Singapore address, cross via Sultan Iskandar Building, drop right at the KSL Hotel lobby or mall entrance. Drive time is ~15–20 minutes from the Causeway. Flat fares start at SGD 150 (Standard 4-seater) or SGD 150 (Standard MPV). For the broader service, see cross border taxi.
No direct Singapore–KSL bus. Causeway Link CW services land at JB Sentral, requiring an onward Grab or local taxi to Taman Abad. Doable for a light-luggage couple; tedious with kids and check-in bags. See our cross-border bus guide.
Not direct. The KTM lands at JB Sentral; you’d still need an onward 10-minute Grab to KSL, which makes the chauffeur option more attractive for a family.
Possible. KSL has its own multi-storey car park, but you’ll need a VEP tag and the basement bays fill quickly on weekend afternoons.
Flat fare per vehicle, not per person. Causeway tolls and Malaysian highway tolls included.
| Vehicle | Pax | Flat fare (SGD) |
|---|---|---|
| Standard MPV (Voxy / Noah / Serena) | 4–7 | $150 |
| Luxury MPV (Alphard / Vellfire) | 4–7 | $180 |
| 13-seater Hiace | 8–13 | $210 |
Round-trip rates are available — 2× the one-way fare. See the full pricing matrix →
About 15–20 minutes from Sultan Iskandar Building, plus CIQ time on both sides. Saturday afternoon Causeway queues can add 20–30 minutes on the way in.
Causeway is the natural choice. KSL sits in Taman Abad, just south of JB city centre, on the Causeway-side road network. Tuas Second Link adds about 10 extra minutes via Iskandar Puteri — only worth considering if Causeway traffic is severely jammed.
Yes. Tell us at booking — KSL Hotel & Resort has its own porte-cochère entrance separate from the mall drop-off. Useful with luggage and a hotel check-in.
For a half-day water park visit, book a round-trip with a return pickup time rather than asking the driver to hold for hours. Our standard wait is 30 minutes free; longer holds run an hourly disposal rate.
Yes — return runs from the KSL Hotel lobby straight back to your Singapore address are routine. Send us your hotel checkout day and time on WhatsApp and we’ll have a driver there.
Yes — SGD, MYR cash, PayNow, bank transfer, WeChat Pay and AliPay all work. Full payment options.
A Standard MPV (5-seater Voxy / Noah / Serena class) at $150 flat is the usual fit — five passengers leaves room for the boot to absorb suitcases and a stroller. For larger groups, step up to a 13-seater Hiace at $210.
