Pet-friendly chauffeur in Singapore

Vet appointments, grooming runs and the ground-transport leg of pet relocation — pet-friendly drivers, boot space for crates, and cross-border SG-JB legs handled door to door.

What’s different about our pet-friendly chauffeur

  • Boot space for crates and carriersStandard MPV (Voxy / Noah) fits up to two large crates plus the owner. The 13-seater Hiace handles multi-pet households or a relocation haul with luggage.
  • Pet-friendly driver pre-assignedPets must be flagged at booking — not every driver in the dispatch pool takes pets, but we have a sub-pool that does. Pre-booking ensures the right driver is dispatched.
  • Air-conditioned, no Causeway overheatingJB queue waits can be hot. Our vehicles run aircon throughout, so pets travel comfortably even on slow Causeway days.
  • Cross-border vet and relocation logisticsJB veterinary visits, KL pet hospital trips, or the home-to-Changi leg of an international pet relocation — all handled with tolls included in the flat fare.

An honest note on pet relocation

If you’re relocating a pet internationally — booking the airline, handling cargo, coordinating with the receiving country’s veterinary authority — that work sits with specialist pet relocation companies. Operators in this space include Singapore Pet Taxi (Bambi & Coco), Pawkit, Pacific Pet Transport, Starwood Pet Travel, Continental Pet Relocation, and WorldCare Pet Transport. They handle airline booking, IATA-compliant crates, customs documentation and the import side of the move.

What we handle is the ground-transport leg: home to Changi for the outbound flight, airport to the new home on arrival, vet to home, home to vet, and any cross-border vet visit on the way. If your specialist already has the air segment booked, we slot under them on the local driving.

For Singapore-side regulation, the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) under NParks governs pet import and export. Cross-border movement requires advance permits, microchipping and rabies vaccinations, with quarantine for some categories. Typical international relocation timelines run four to six months end to end (microchip, rabies vaccine, 30-day wait, blood draw for the Rabies Titer Test, second vaccine). Don’t move an unregistered pet across the border — coordinate with AVS and the receiving authority well ahead of the travel date. We can drive the pet, but we don’t handle the paperwork.

Common pet-friendly bookings

  • Vet appointment chauffeur — owner plus cat or dog from home to clinic, driver waits during the consult, returns home. Straightforward and the most common booking.
  • Cross-border vet — Singapore resident with a pet that needs a JB-side specialist (some diagnostics are cheaper or available sooner across the border).
  • Grooming day-out — drop pet at the groomer, owner runs errands, pickup later.
  • Pet relocation ground leg — home to Changi for an international flight where a specialist handles the airline; airport to new home on inbound; or vet visits before departure.
  • Multi-pet family day-trip — picnic, beach or family outing where the dogs come along.
  • Routine vet course — multi-week treatment series with continuity of driver and vehicle. For supply runs across the border, see our JB petshop guide; for medical-tourism framing, see medical tourism transport.

How it works

  1. 1 WhatsApp us with pet details Pet type, size, crate or carrier dimensions, pickup and dropoff, hours needed, and whether it’s a cross-border leg. Flagging the pet at booking is essential.
  2. 2 We confirm a pet-friendly driver and vehicle Standard MPV is the boot-friendly default; Hiace for multi-pet or a full relocation haul. Reply within 10 minutes during operating hours.
  3. 3 Owner and pet ride together Driver helps with crate boarding. Owner stays with the pet throughout the ride — pets must not be left unattended in the vehicle, even briefly.

Sample fares

Pet bookings are bespoke. A short vet run with a one-hour wait is very different from a relocation-day haul with airport drop and luggage, so we quote against the actual route and hours.

For reference, our Standard MPV from Singapore to JB starts from SGD 150 one-way and our 13-seater Hiace starts from SGD 210 — both with tolls and Causeway clearance included. A small handling fee may apply depending on pet size and crate setup. The full matrix is on our pricing page, and the cross-border framing is on SG-JB taxi.

FAQ

Will the driver mind a pet in the vehicle?

Pre-booking flags a pet-friendly driver. Not every driver in the dispatch pool takes pets, so a walk-up booking without prior notice may not work — please tell us in advance on WhatsApp.

Is a crate or carrier required?

Yes for safety and cleanliness. Cats must travel in a carrier. Larger dogs benefit from being crated for the ride, especially on cross-border legs where Causeway queue times can be unpredictable.

Can you handle cross-border pet travel?

Yes for the driving leg, with tolls included. The regulatory side — AVS permits, microchip records, rabies vaccinations, quarantine where applicable — sits with you and your vet. Don’t move an unregistered pet across the border.

Do you handle international pet relocation, including the flight?

No — that’s specialist work. Operators like Singapore Pet Taxi, Pawkit, Pacific Pet Transport, Starwood, Continental and WorldCare handle airline booking and customs. We handle the ground legs around their bookings.

Can we book a multi-pet booking?

Yes, depending on vehicle tier and how the carriers fit. Standard MPV fits up to two large crates plus the owner; Hiace fits more. Send dimensions on WhatsApp and we’ll confirm.

Will there be a cleaning fee?

Case by case. Standard expectation is the vehicle is returned in the same condition it was picked up in. Heavy shedding, accidents or odour may attract a cleaning fee — we’ll flag it on WhatsApp before charging anything.

Can we leave the pet in the vehicle while we shop?

No. Pets must not be left unattended in the vehicle. Book waiting hours so the driver supervises while the pet stays in the air-conditioned cabin, or schedule the stop around your return.
